Hi, I’m Graham.
I started using Vetiver grass in 2021 to stabilise a slope beside my house—where a poorly built retaining wall collapsed back in 1979 and was never replaced. While the bank hadn’t shifted in over 45 years, I wanted to plant it up and future-proof the area.
If only we’d known about Vetiver in 1975—it could’ve saved a lot of time and money!
Throughout my project, I’ve learned a great deal about what Vetiver can—and can’t—do. Through plenty of trial and error, I’ve become something of a Vetiver enthusiast (some might even say an expert), and I now find myself recommending it to anyone with a slippy slope.
What began as a small backyard nursery to supply my own needs has grown into something bigger. I now have a full-fledged Vetiver production setup and a deep understanding of how to use it effectively. That’s how Vetiver Solutions was born.
