About me
Kia ora, I’m Graham.
I started using Vetiver grass in 2021 to stabilise a slope beside my house—where a poorly built retaining wall collapsed back in 1979 and was never replaced. While the bank hasn’t shifted in over 45 years, I wanted to plant it up and future-proof the area.
Throughout my project, I’ve learned a great deal about what Vetiver can—and can’t—do. Through my own trial and error, I’ve developed a in-depth understanding of Vetiver grass and now recommend it to anyone with a slope that is prone to, or might potentially slip.
What began as a small backyard nursery to supply my own needs has grown into something bigger. I now have a full-fledged Vetiver production setup and knowledge of how to use it effectively. That’s how Vetiver Solutions was born.
If you’ve got a slope that needs support, I can supply plants, offer advice, or even take care of the planting for you. I’m passionate about Vetiver and its potential to provide natural, low-maintenance slope stabilisation.
